Behavior

• A massive purple blob with protruding tentacles that can only spawn after completing a surgery in Room 8.
• While a patient is recovering from surgery there, there is a chance they will say they feel strange and the Tendril appears, starting a timed 'Monster Emerging' emergency event.
• It does not harm the player directly but will kill the patient (recorded as an animal death) if the timer runs out.
• Starting the surgery again does not reset the timer to 45 seconds; it continues from where it left off.

How to Respond

Perform the surgery mini-game to remove it, always following this exact order: Scissors, Transplant, Scissors, Transplant, then 3 random Treatments. Shooting, tasing, or offering coffee to the Tendril will automatically kill the patient, so avoid those approaches.
