Question 1 of 10 Score: 0 Best: —

Draws from 12 anomalies with a documented behavior. Each round picks 10 of them at random.

How this tool works

Each round randomly selects 10 anomalies out of the 12 in our Anomalies database that have both a documented behavior and a documented response — the same dataset used by the Anomaly Checker. Every question shows a short clue paraphrased from that anomaly's own behavior text, then four name options: the correct anomaly plus three distractors drawn from the other entities in the pool, shuffled into a random position each time.

After you answer, the tool immediately marks your choice correct or incorrect, shows the anomaly's actual how-to-respond text, and links to its full entry for the source citation. Your running score is shown in the header throughout the round. When you finish all 10 questions, your score is compared against your personal best, which is saved in this browser's local storage — nothing is sent to a server, so your best score only persists on this device and browser, and clearing site data will reset it.

The quiz only draws from anomalies with a confirmed ("verified") status; anything still marked "needs_check" on the wiki is excluded, matching the verification policy used across the rest of the site. If you'd rather look up an anomaly from observed signs instead of testing your memory, use the Anomaly Checker.
